Cake with candied fruit

Ingredients

225 g Extra white flour type 400
1 pack baking powder
150 g butter
140 g sugar
2 eggs
100 ml of milk
candied fruit if desired

PREPARATION

Beat the butter and sugar together. Add eggs one by one while whisking. Than add flour mixed with baking powder. Add the milk and mix well to get a homogeneous mixture. FInely chop the candied fruit and add it to the mixture. Mix with a spatula. Pour the mixture in a lubricated and floured rectangular mold. Bake at 180˚C, 40 minutes.
