Cake with rusks and nuts

For the filling: (sherbet)

  • 800 g sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 sachet vanilla sugar

For glaze: 

  • 1 whipped cream
  • sour cream

PREPARATION

Whip the eggs to make foam. Add sugar, cooking oil, ground nuts, cream, baking powder and ground rusk. Then pour the mixture into the pan and bake at 200oC. The sugar, water and vanilla sugar are left to boil for about 5 minutes. Once baked, pour the sherbet on the cake. Let the cake cool and coat it with the whipped cream.
