Cottage cheese pie and bacon

Ingredients

For the dough:

Filling:

  • 400 g cottage cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 200 g bacon – finely chopped in cubes  
  • salt.

PREPARATION

In a deep bowl, knead the dough from the flour, milk, yeast, sugar, oil and salt. Leave to rise in a warm place (app. 50-60 minutes). Divide the risen dough into 4 parts, and roll each part into a round shape. Coat each crust (except the last one) with oil and put them one on top of the other. From the crusts arranged in this way, roll a 30 cm diameter crust and place it in a round baking tray. Fry the cottage cheese with the egg. Add salt. Fry the bacon in a separate pan. Mix and place the prepared mixture in the middle of the crust. Fold the ends of the crust inwards, forming a beautiful curl. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C, for about 20-25 minutes.
